The Grez Mendocino is a compact  (13.25"), light weight (5lbs) semi-hollobody guitar  with the voice of a full size semi-hollowbody.  Its strong voice is imparted by the nature of it's internal structure and a high quality, acoustic guitar grade, Old Growth Redwood top.

Larger 14" single cut body available on request.

Same specs and cost as the standard Mendocino but with a re-voiced top and F-hole.  This changes the acoustic signature giving it a little less mid push and a little more frequency extension at the top and bottom end. Essentially a flatter response.  Shown below in all back and Dynasonics

Guitar virtuoso Paul Pigat praises the “Mendocino” sound:

“It has a real natural, almost acoustic kind of tone to it, it’s robust and has lots of overtones which is really nice and is what you’re looking for.”

High quality, acoustic guitar grade, reclaimed old growth Redwood tops significantly enhance the acoustic response.

Bodies cut from  large, one piece Honduran Mahogany billets enhance sustain.

Carbon fiber reinforced necks are stiffer allowing for greater note to note uniformity because of less interaction between neck resonant frequencies and fretted notes.
